Ashbourne & District Gardener's Club Horticultural Show
The show is to be held on Sunday 21st September at the Ex-Servicemen's Club in the Market Place.
All members of ARUFC are invited to attend the event and take part in the Novelty Class, which is for any flower or vegetable exhibit from a rugby club member that has been grown in their own garden (please can I be the first to point out that Twiggy cannot be entered as an exhibit  ).
Plus, there are further events for:
- Best decorated cake in the shape of a rugby ball
- Best decorated egg (any type decorated as a rugby player)
There is an entry fee of 50p per exhibit.
The proceeds of this year's sale of goods will be split between Ashbourne Gardener's Club and Ashbourne RUFC.
